Kaštela (pronounced [kǎʃtɛla]) is an agglomeration of seven small towns in Croatia, located northwest of the city of Split, west of Solin and east of Trogir, on the central Dalmatian coast. When it comes to beaches, Kaštela is up there with the best. Be sure to plunge in the crystal clear Adriatic at Divulje, Bile, Gabine, and Petrova Njiva beaches. If you're into hiking and cycling, Mount Kozjak surrounds Kaštela and makes for some exceptional exploring along its 80km of marked trails.
