Absolutely loved this place! Can't thank Rashid (Aamirs father) enough for his friendliness and willingness to help! Some of my best accomodation I've had through out all of Europe!

Room is very comfortable and perfect for one person. Everything necessary is inside, bathroom, shelves and bed. Very nice located with 10-15 min transport to Liverpool city centre (bus stop just next to the house). Also 10 min on foot to Anfield stadium. I recommend staying at Aamir house to everyone!

Place is good, if you just need a room to sleep, as there is no TV, only a bed, chairs and a table in the room. If you are thinking to go out at night and come home late at night, think twice, as the neighborhood is a little strange, and there are no buses at night. But the bus during day, is very fast, about 10 min from Queen Square and Liverpool Lime Street Station. Room is clean, shower good, and also towels.

30 min bus from city centre. Closed to many grocery stores. The host was unreachable and always "in the middle" of setting things up. Dreadful. However the janitor was so locely and helpful and even prepare the detergent for me. She is the main reason why I don't give this 1 starm

Aamir was wonderful to be so responsive and allow me to check in as soon as possible; I was coming from a very uncomfortable lodging situation and quickly booked his room which was clearly a brand new listing. The description was blank but the place looked clean! The accommodations are as basic as it gets, but if all you want is a clean and basic place to lay your head [which is EXACTLY what I needed], then this is a GREAT value. It is also only 1/4 block away from the bus stop that is only 20 minutes ride into the Liverpool City Center! It is also a 10 minute walk from a strip of shops, cafes, grocery, etc. This is in the real Liverpool, a fine taste of how the working class everyday Scousers live! He recommended a wonderful little cafe where I had breakfast and they were absolutely jolly people. I know I was instantly spotted as an outsider and yet the neighborhood made me feel quite welcome. However, I do hope that Aamir quickly addresses several key deficiencies that would not be a problem if the host lived on site. For example, there is a single outlet for the washing machine and the hot water boiler. SO... if someone needs to do laundry then no one gets a hot shower [especially if the launderer forgets to restore the boiler plug]. I complained about this a few times but though the situation could be quickly remedied with a power strip, there was no urgency from the host and it was never resolved while I was there. In the room I occupied there is no mirror or trash can in the bathroom. There is no refrigerator in the kitchen which is problematic if the many guests in the flat wish to cook their own food but have no place for perishables. One would have to shop and then cook immediately afterward. After hours the only choice for food is the kebab place just downstairs. There is a large wall-mounted television but no chairs or sofa for anyone to sit and enjoy if they chose to do so. There is no neighborhood guide or house rules in print or writing for guests, and I could smell someone smoking inside the building. I also saw no safety cards. My assigned key card/FOB never worked and I always had to call someone to give me access into the building. This included calling Aamir who then called another guest to come downstairs and let me in after dark. Being able to quickly and safely access your home-away-from-home is crucial for solo women travellers. I understand this is a new listing and the entire flat has been restored to function as a hostel. It has loads of potential to host with no-frills or eventually add layers of character and personality [the walls are all bare]. But as a successful veteran AirBnB hostess who lives in the same flat as my guests, I am more...
