Come stay on Mount Parihaka, the site of an historic battle in the 1700s, and since named "Parihaka" - the cliff where a haka was performed. Spectacular bush walks to the summit and to town surround the house.
You will have a private room with tea and coffee facilities. You will have use of a shared bathroom, separate toilets, a kitchen, living/dining room, deck and bush garden. There is ample parking and we are only a 5 minute drive to town. Breakfast is continental - toast and muesli.
Parking is appropriate for 8+ cars including camper vans. Our garden has an array of herbs and fruits including grapes, guava, apples, tangerines, lemons, peppermint and figs which you are welcome to harvest when in season.
Shared access to kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom, separate toilet, 50sqm deck and almost an acre of bush garden. Gated parking available.

Jon is a doctor from the UK, now living and working in Whangarei. His passions are cycling and trekking and more generally the outdoors.
Annie was born in Russia and grew up in the UK. She moved to Whangarei with Jon after they got married and had an extended travelling honeymoon. She now works in real estate but her passions lie in art.
