Our home is clean and quaint. The view is of a 15 acre southern facing field. This is a peaceful place, but not too remote. There is total privacy, but you are only 15 minutes to either Bethel or Norway. 25 minutes to Sunday River. 1 hour 20 minutes to Portland and about 60 minutes to Conway, NH. The deck is great for watching wildlife or listening to the wind. Many outdoor recreation options, include 100's of hikes and miles of Nordic skiing at the Bethel Inn. There are lakes at every bend In the road.

The space

It is proximate to many locations, but feels in the middle of nowhere. A very scenic property on the top of a small hill. Paved road turns to dirt right near house.

Guest access

There is a fire pit by the deck and apple trees . Wood fired hot tub may be in use.... may be negotiable, as it requires a lot of work to get it perfectly clean and hot. There is new Webber Grill. Ping pong table, basket Ball hoop. Trampoline. Slack line. You can use the snowshoes or Nordic skis. Picnic table.

Interaction with guests

I will be available by phone, text and email. If guests need help in person, a property manager will attend to your needs.

Other things to note

PLEASE be mindful of the septic system. A new one would cost me more than I could ever make renting my home on air B and B. Nothing in it but TP. Thank you!

The pictures are accurate, but being there is even better! We loved every minute we spent here. We were two adults, two teens, and one child, no one was ever bored or crowded. Also, no one felt ready to leave when our time was over. Traci could not be any greater of a host! If you're looking for peace and enjoyment in a beautiful setting, this is the place.

Traci went Above and Beyond to make this last-minute weekend getaway happen for us. This beautiful and rare gem of a log cabin home, is Traci's home…not just "Traci's Place," an AirBnB, but her and her family’s home. My boyfriend, family and I, decided last minute to spend a long weekend in Maine. We planned to hit Ogunquit and Portland. Every hotel was Sold Out or way too much $$$$ a night. Decided to try AirBnB for the first time. Found Traci's Place and was immediately taken by the photos and description. Right up front, Traci informed me she wasn't sure if she could have the place cleaned and ready, in time, and on top of that, was in the process of renovating the bathroom. It was Thursday and we were talking about Friday. I said, "No problem if it's not spotless, and so long as the toilet and shower worked, we're fine!" We drove up from Mass, spent the day in Ogunquit, then headed to Traci's Place about 7:00pm. Didn't know how it was from the coast, til we put the address into Waze. Surprise! About two hours, but it turned out to be well worth the drive! Grabbed a bite at Sunday River Brewing Co. near Traci’s. We pulled in the driveway at 10:00pm, to a log cabin in the middle of a clearing! Strings of little white lights outlined the front porch windows and illuminated the house. Those and a lamp just inside the front door, were the only lights for as far as one could see. Picture perfect! Privacy, We brushed our teeth in the kitchen sink and used a Vis to turn the shower on and off! At night, we sat on the porch by the chimenea and listened for the local wildlife. Traci Place IS Traci's Home. Pics of her family and friends cover the fridge, and even had a magnetic chalkboard with "Welcome!" written on it, to greet us when we arrived! Every room was full of great energy and made me feel like I was staying at my best friend's home. We didn’t have kids with us but Traci has youngins’. There were board games, basketball net, trampoline and other outdoor fun things to keep kids engaged. If you're looking for a sterile, "amid the bustle" kind of BnB, Traci's Place is not for you. Warmth; Privacy; Peace; Nature; Yard and MORE Yard; Lakes, Little Shops and Eateries, nearby...Traci's Place is for you! Thanks again, Traci! Can’t wait to see the bathroom when it’s finished! :-)

Stayed at Traci's place with several friends from college for a quiet weekend away from the city. It was a great house with good facilities and lots of activities - especially enjoyed using the basketball hoop and ping pong table. The lake is not too far away so we enjoyed that after checking out, which was nice too. Overall a great stay, would recommend to anyone.

Great secluded location hidden away near White mountains. Nice hiking trails and ponds near by which are good for swimming. Cool house with on a large well maintained section. Tracy was quick to respond and made everything easy. Would highly recommend!

This is a great find. If what you're looking for is a homey house in a stunning rural location with amenities fun for kids and the young at heart (ping pong, board games, basketball, trampoline, etc) that's close enough to swim spots and Bethel eateries, look no further. We spent a lovely weekend at Traci's place. The home was impeccably clean. Communication with Traci was easy and the weekend couldn't have gone smoother. The only thing I'd say is this is clearly their home-- so their family photos are up on the walls and the fridge had lots of their food in it. This wasn't a problem at all for us, but is just good to know going into it. I'd highly recommend a stay here!

Response from Traci:
My apologies, I really thought the description said that this was our family home. I usually remind people via personal communication, but I guess that is the first time they are hearing it, if at all. I will happily amend that.
