Other things to note
My grandfather build this house in the 1980s. It was his vision to have a home right by the sea. The house is quirky with plenty character.
Please feel free to enjoy the sunsets and stormy seas on our beautiful, recently painted front patio but be very careful on the steps down as they are made from stones taken from the old workhouse in Bahaghs Cahersiveen!
You also have access to a private strand which you're welcome to enjoy and dip your feet into the wild Atlantic but again be mindful of the steps down as they are quite narrow.
The house has not been changed much since the 80s so if you're looking for mod cons this probably isn't the place for you, however if you like going back to basics and want to stay in a house that has been built through a locals vision, this is the place for you.
- There is a pool area, which is being renovated at the moment which is off limits (this is the reason why it is not suitable for children). During your stay there will be no work going on around the pool area so noise won't be an issue.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.
