Veronica's place is very centrally located near La Rambla. Very convenient for anyone who is wanting to be where all the action is. Veronica is great. She is helpful and very hospitable. The room is a bit small, but for the price, it's what you can only expect in an older building. It was a great experience to stay at a real Catalonian home.

The flat is super well located. There is one of the major station at 5min walking where you can take the subway or the bus to the airport. There is a super cute terrasse, ideal if you want to have breakfast or dinner at home. The room is quite small but there are some shelves where you can organize your stuff. The only pain point was coming from the room's window, we couldn't open it otherwise we had some bad odor coming in.

It was great! Veronica is such a nice and open person who always had great tips. The terrace is great which is also siting of the flat.. it s more central than possible. My daughter and I loved to go the "Mercat de la Boqueria" around the corner every day to eat fish and vegetarian food. Thank you Veronica, for being Veronica.

Very nice house in the central area (I loved the small inner garden). Great if you arrive from the airport. Veronica is nice and helpful.

We arrived two hours later than we actually planned on but the delay was no problem for Veronica. Her apartment is located very close (about a 5 minute walk) to La Rambla. Even though there's a lot of traffic and people at the Rambla, the area around the apartment is very quiet. You barely hear any noises from the Rambla or the surrounding areas when you're in bed or on the terrace. When we arrived, Veronica welcomed us and showed us her apartment. Everthing is like on the photos. It's her own sleeping room, a kitchen, a bathroom, a bigger living room with access to the terrace in the backyard and our room. Our room was clean, nicely decorated but very tiny. It had a bed (big enough for two people), a mirror, a shelf and a window to another backyard (not the same as the terrace). It was narrow when we both were in the room at the same time. There's even less space when you travel with big luggage, when you just have a backpack it's not that much of a problem. Sadly the window to the backyard didn't open up completely. Also there was barely sunlight in the room when we didn't turn the lights on. The window had a shutter which we let down every night. One thing we didn't like was the smell that came from the backyard. It smelled like there were the pipes of the bathrooms/toilets of the house. When we left the window open at night we woke up to a not-so-good smell in the room which is not very comfortable. Letting fresh air in was barely possible either. The smell wasn't like we couldn't use the room at all but it wasn't too comfortable. Altogether the room was okay for the few days we stayed in Barcelona. The bathroom and the rest of the flat was clean, Veronica provided two shelf spaces for our things (toothbrush, towels etc) to put them there. We were also allowed to use everything in the kitchen. The terrace is large with access to the living room. It was nice to sit outside on such a big terrace in the middle of Barcelona. If necessary, you can hang your wet towels on the line to dry. Veronica likes plants so the terrace is green all over ;-) it also has a table with two chairs and a hammock to chill in. The noises in the backyard are the usual ones, neighbors talking or cooking, but no traffic or other loud sounds. It's nice to hang out there after a long day of walking around and doing stuff. Altogether the stay with Veronica was very pleasant, she's really nice and she can recommend restaurants or places where you can go to. She's at work during the day but she's usually home in the evenings. Also, if you have any other questions about Barcelona or what's happening around, she can help you with information. We would go there...
