I spent 4 nights at Paradise Awaits while in town for business. Louise could not have been more welcoming or friendly - she even ran me down the street to the nearby shop to pick up provisions when I arrived on a rainy day. The location is about a 20 minute walk into downtown Hamilton, but very quiet and right on the water. Peaceful quiet back yard with wee deck overlooking the sunsets. Furnishings are simple and comfortable, wifi was perfect, A/C effective, everything very clean. A refreshing alternative to the expense & formality of Bermuda hotels.

Delightful apartment right on the cliffs, with stairs leading to the water. Easy travel to both ends of the island if you rent a scooter ( all the way to Dockyard and St George's). Highly advisable to rent a scooter, by the way, because it gives you total mobility without having to rely on buses or taxis. We never actually boarded a bus or taxi on this trip! Louise and Mel went out of their way to make sure the stay was pleasant and that we had everything we needed. Mel even picked us up from the airport (and dropped us off when it was time to go, too). Louise drove us around a little and helped us with getting a local sim card and then renting a scooter, after which we were just fine getting around on our own. They have some snorkel gear/water shoes, but we brought our own anyway. Mel has a boat he could give you a tour of the islands on or show some snorkeling spots, if that's something you're interested in. Thank you Mel for a wonderful time! :) The apartment is furnished, the bed is nice and soft, AC works great, wifi works great too (good enough for even VOIP calls). The grocery store is 2 minutes walking or 15 seconds on a scooter away. Of course the apartment is equipped with a kitchen, so if you prefer cooking for yourself, as we did maybe half the time, it's all there. There are also many restaurants 5 minutes by scooter away, in downtown Hamilton where you can find various stores, markets, museums, gallery, and other fun and interesting things to do/see. We had a wonderful time in this apartment, and enjoyed Bermuda! We hope to have an opportunity to visit again sometime soon.

Louise communicated with me every step of the way to make sure I arrived and didn't get lost. She was very kind upon arrival and we also met her husband and sons, who were also very welcoming. Louise and Mel made sure we had everything for our stay and any adventures we might go on, and also offered to introduce us to their dog Keo to make me comfortable due to my fear of dogs. They put him up for our stay and that was appreciated as well. We found out we were their first guests that they've ever hosted and was surprised due to their exceptional service. We were given a small tour of the property and a few places to sit and enjoy the water on the property. Thank you guys for making our stay so great and we will see you next time we are in the island.
