Features an 1800's queen bed with access to balcony through the Community Room.
B&B listed on National Register of Historic Homes in 1978. Built in 1829 as an Old Castillo Hotel, then served as a school for girls for almost 100 years until 1986. Closed. Then purchased in 1987 and turned into restaurant and now B&B.
Guest have access to their room and all common areas. Also have access to microwave and refrigerator located in kitchen designated to the B&B.
Interaction with guests
Almost always I will be there to check you in and to check you out. However, I am always available to answer any questions you may have. Please honor your chosen check-in time or advise me if you change it.
Other things to note
We are located in the historic district of the city of St. Martinville. Walking distance to restaurants, museums, historic St. Martin de Tours Church and other attractions. Longfellow-Evangeline State Park is only a couple of miles away. St. Martinville is only minutes away from New Iberia, Breaux Bridge, and Lafayette. Forty Five minutes away from Baton Rouge and couple hours from New Orleans.
