The holiday apartment Bretxa gets its name from the Bretxa market situated close by. It used to be the most popular wholesale food market in San Sebastian. Nowadays, it still is a traditional retail market but you can also find some modern shops within it.
The vacation apartment Bretxa is located on the fourth floor of a building situated in the area known as the “Widening”. It is the urban expansion area built from the Old Town during the 19th Century, following a romantic architectural style. The building faces the Kursaal Bridge, at the point where the Urumea River meets the sea. It was completely rebuilt (2011) maintaining the sandstone frontage and the romantic style.
The accommodation faces a large and tranquil open courtyard, and thanks to being situated so high in the building, it is a very bright apartment. Its 85 square metres are distributed in 3 double bedrooms and 2 fully equipped (Website hidden by Airbnb) we access the apartment, there is an open plan lounge-dining area and next to it, a modern fully equipped kitchenette with top of the range electrical appliances.
The lounge, although not very spacious, it was very well planned and it is fully furnished. There is a chaise longue, a 42 inches LED TV and a large dining table with sitting for up to 6 people. From the kitchen it is possible to go out onto a balcony.The main bedroom has a king size bed and an ensuite bathroom. The other two bedrooms have twin beds and share the second bathroom. Both bathrooms have a shower.
This apartment doesn't have a garage and the parking situation in the area is difficult and expensive.
