The place is great! We were cycling the South Downs Way and stayed there for the night after exhausting ride from Winchester. Initially we had some problems locating the house as (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) map location marker was quite a bit off, but this was quickly resolved by Peter's coming after us in a pickup :) And he was kind to drive us to the Three Moles pub in Selham which we can also wholeheartedly recommend. Guest room is in a separate building from the house and is very comfortable - its awesomeness is sufficiently covered by other reviews :). The location is surrounded by trees, it felt like a little bit like a forest, just what we needed after the long day. Wooden carvings - dragons, gargoyles, acorns - add to the atmosphere. We couldn't wish any better, thank you Jan and Peter!

Beautiful room with attention to detail.... toiletries & even a magnified make up mirror in the bathroom. Tea, coffee and some items for a quick breakfast were provided which was unexpected. Perfect for our overnight say....or for a week should you wish. Lovely location...can't fault anything to be honest. Thank you Jan.

Jan's place is a fantastic secluded place to stay. The photos don't do it justice, everything has been hand carved from oak by her husband, including the bed. It's a lovingly crafted space and impeccably clean. All that you might need is there for your stay, cereal, milk, tea coffee, toiletries. It's like staying in the best kind of bnb, and the space is totally separate from the family home. The shower is amazing and the bathroom bigger than it appears, there is a built in wardrobe to hang clothes in the main room. Jan was very patient with us arriving, as we got a little lost, and were delayed. We were staying in the area for a wedding, and Jan drove us twice to the venue, such was her amazing generosity. I can't recommend staying here enough, such lovely people!

Great room nicely decorated with en suite toilet and shower room in Graffham. The pictures of the room on Air BnB dont do it justice. Excellent location for exploring the beautiful surroundings in the heart of the South Downs National park. Many footpaths branching off the road where the house is and the start of the classic South Downs Way walking trail is just a 15 min walk down the road with magnificent views of the rolling green hills once you are at the top. We went to one of the local pubs for dinner (The Three Moles-reachable by car or by walking- distance from house around 2 miles) which had friendly staff and very nice food and drinks. Our hosts were welcoming and outgoing providing continental breakfast materials for the length of our stay and also even offered to give us a ride back to the house after a heavy days walking. Our only gripe was the WiFi signal from the house did not reach the room too well so we either had to stand by the window of the room which faced the house or go and sit in our car outside- not a terrible situation of course but could be improved. We highly recommend this property and would gladly return in future years!
