Behind the stone walls, however,we have room with contemporary luxury and amenities - central heating, cable TV in every room, bathroom. On the first floor are lounge, fully equipped kitchen and a room that has its own bathroom. On the second floor there are two other rooms that share a bathroom. The rooms have a capacity up to 4 people maximum.

The space
The story is one that meets each person more of the approaches to the Kotel. If you are coming from southern Bulgaria, one of the curves just before the Renaissance town like a stone in silence with 'welcome' will greet you three warriors, proudly and nobly standing on a hill, standing here on eternal guard. In the rocks against them is carved the date 1280, while beneath it was placed a lion - symbol of strength and power with which to recall the glorious victory march in these lands Ivailo against the Byzantines. In the vicinity of Kotel, 7 km south of town are the remains of an ancient fortress wall associated with Vida fortress of the homonymous peak (do not be fooled by the name - this is not Baba Vida fortress on the Danube), at the foot of which the Byzantines suffered another heavy loss even under Khan Krum in 811 year in the area called nowadays Greek coulee. Thus, a small nod to history lovers, the old Renaissance city welcomes its guests, ready to tell them their past and present.Kotel is still called "stronghold of Bulgarian spirit" and "Cradle of the Renaissance" because is the birthplace of a whole host of functionaries, who left a lasting mark in the history of Bulgaria - Sophronius Vrachanski, Neophyt Bozveli, Gavrail Krastevich, Aleko Bogoridi, Stefan Bogoridi, Petar Beron, Georgi Sava Rakovski. The city is an important economic, literary and cultural center of Bulgaria during the Renaissance.Today Kotel is a resort town with many preserved Renaissance buildings - large Natural and Ethnography Museum, the Pantheon of Rakovski and Revival Museum of Kotel. Let me mention the National School of Folk Music and Dance Arts "Philip Kutev" which boasts the city.
