A house in the heart of the city, large and spacious, renovated a few years ago, respecting the historical features of the property. The decor is simple and functional.
I have refurbished this house with my heart and the smallest details, from the finishes to the colors of the radiators. Take care! ;)

The space

The apartment is built on two levels, the living area below with a large loft style kitchen and the sleeping area on the second floor.
The kitchen is equipped with an oven, fridge, toaster and dishwasher.
In the dining room there is tv and wifi.
the airco is in the 2 bedrooms, not in the kitchen area and dining room.

Other things to note

Is located in the heart of the city and nightlife. Despite the double glazing it may feel a bit confusing and therefore not suitable for those who have light sleep.

The flat is directly in the middle of Pisa. Everything is in walking distance (shopping, Sightseeing, nightlife,...). The flat is very big and comfortable (kitchen, two bathrooms, big living room, two bedrooms). We were 4 people and for us it was perfect. Communication with our host was always quick and easy. I can recommend this flat to everyone who wants to make a uncomplicated and comfortable city trip. I would do it defenetily again.

The apartment was great - clean, tidy and plenty of space. 10minutes walk to the tower and the same to the train station - which made it easy to get to Lucca and Viareggio.

We spend a very nice summer week in Gaia's appartment. It is centrally located in the old town with with good access to the newer shopping area on the other side of the river. We loved the lively atmosphere in the neighbourhood and in particular the variety of good restaurants and bars. The appartment actually was much bigger than we thought from the pictures. Specifically to mention are the modern and spacious bath rooms as well as the quiet and air conditioned bed rooms. Check in and check out were seamless. Gaia and team created a welcoming atmosphere actively reaching out as well as being very responsive to our requests. We can only recommend the appartment for a dive into the Italian way of life.

Fantastic location and apartment. Hosts are super nice and helpful. Would not recommend for little kids because of the stairs. There is night noise from bars, but with closed windows and doors of bedrooms you cannot hear anything. We did not mind as we are late sleepers.

The apartment is incredibly situated in the very heart of historical Pisa Center, 100m from Garibaldi, 50m from the riverside, 7 minutes' walk from both Cavalieri in the South and the train station in the North. Smokers from abroad will suffer from the mandatory clean air, but they will particularly enjoy the 24h supply of cigarettes in nearby tobacco shops and bars, thing that does not usually happen in Italy, where you need a Social Security equivalent to buy them after sunset. 365 days a year pharmacy is also 2 minutes away. Logistics are closer to those of a hotel, than an apartment: in addition to your private kitchen in the appartment, there's a big dining room, shared by the visitors, with a big supply of water, tea, coffee and cooking accessories. The noise in the Victuals' square beneath the apartment is deafening until 3am every night, but only if you love the sound. A smart combination of blinds, shutters and PVC glass kills it off with a perfection of noise cancelling earphones. Open the windows — you're in a stadium. Close them — and you can make professional radio recordings undisturbed. I did, so it's no exaggeration. Air conditioning is industrial in the sleeping rooms, you can freeze if you want to, when it's +38 outside. Hospitality logistics are impeccable. Codes everywhere, come and leave when you please. All the three hosts are very friendly local ladies, ready to assist in any of your needs and special requests. WiFi is sufficient for hi-res photo uploads and video streaming, for HD videos you'd rather get your own LTE lease from Vodafone or TIM. If you love smoking while you work on your computer, then just sit in piazza Vettovaglie outside, and the WiFi from the appartment will be fully accessible there. The house had been there from around XIth century, but the Medicis did some renovations in the 1550s, when the buildings were turned over to Pisa University. That's when they built the piazza Vettovaglie the way you see it now.
