Our cosy, yet spacious hut is a great holiday retreat for any couple. Set on the Llyn Peninsula with great destinations at its doorstep with spectacular views all around. Within a short walking distance from the pub which serves great local food on Friday and Saturday nights, and only a short drive away from Pwllheli, Nefyn, Abersoch and many other villages which host some of Wales' most beautiful beaches. We would love to welcome you to our amazing part of Wales.

The space

The Sheperds Hut is set on our field which is in front of the house, there is a garden area for your own use where you can sit, relax and enjoy the best breathtaking views around, right across Cardigan bay to the south and across the hills further along the peninsula to the south west. The toilet and shower room are a few feet away from the pod, and a small kitchen area which has your basic needs e.g. kettle, toster, microwave, drinking glasses, mugs, plates, bowls, cutlery and a bottle and can opener. We also supply complimentary tea and coffee, a small milk jug, toilet rolls, shower gel and hand soap. The sheperds hut it's self is warm and cosy with underfloor heating if you need it, you can wake up to the sounds of nature in the double bed which is really comfy with a large window looking towards Cardigan bay, it has two comfy chairs for you to relax on after your day of adventure, table and two chairs. Towels and bed linen is supplyed. This is a well thought out little complex.

We shared our hosts enthusiasm for it. The unimpeded view form the shepherd hut was stunning and the brand new facilities were spotless. Cheers.

If you like the pictures you'll LOVE the place, it's so hard to do it justice on camera - trust us, we tried. Perfect peaceful get away, very easy to pop inland and further out the peninsula. Wish we'd stayed for a month not just one night! Thank you for having us!

This is the perfect romantic getaway! Stunning views to enjoy right from your hut window (or the bench in your little private garden), including the sea in the distance (much to the delight of my partner). The shepherd's hut itself is surprisingly spacious with a comfortable double bed, two armchairs, large chest of drawers and table and chairs, with plenty of windows to enjoy those stunning views (including a gamboling horse!) There is electricity and underfloor heating in the hut and just a step away was our own private mini-kitchen in a matching little shed. Complimentary tea and coffee are provided and there is a kettle, microwave and fridge, along with cutlery and crockery. As we arrived in the evening and were just staying one night we decided just to bung something in the microwave so as to enjoy the view and ambience rather than eat out and obviously this is great if you are on a budget too. Caroline said the toilets were 10 seconds away and they literally were! You get a toilet to yourselves and the only thing you have to share is the shower with one other couple but EVERYTHING is so spotlessly clean, it isn't an issue. The hosts really have thought of everything. They gave us a warm welcome and farewell and were really nice. Caroline told us to visit somewhere nearby called Nant Gwrtheyrn and we really didn't get why she was going on about it until we went but it was AMAZING! I won't spoil it by telling you about it. Just go! Oh and there are even white doves in a dovecot. We wished we could have stayed longer but we will be back for sure. Thank you.
