Arrowmont is a 200 acre horse farm on top of Cullowhee Mountain in western North Carolina. We best serve families who are looking to get away from the stress of city life and want a remote, quiet place to relax... and the horses add their own special charms.
My husband and I love God, our family and living in the country on top of this mountain. The birds singing can wake us up in the morning and the crickets chirping can lull us to sleep at night. Also Spend way too much time working on the computer.
Truly Love the majestic mountain views, especially early in the morning watching the sun rise above the mountains with the morning mist settled in the valley... AWESOME and breathtaking! Never tire of it. And those twisty mountain roads that bring you here, help keep it private when you arrive on top of this mountain.
You will also find horses for you to ride here. They are allowed to roam freely on the farm when "off duty". So you might meet some nosy, four legged critters in the driveway or in your cabin's front yard.
This is a very laid back atmosphere for adventuresome individuals who are looking for a real getaway.
We love animals, hiking, riding, nature, reading, a good comedy and, of course, people!
