Hi! My life revolves around guests. My husband, Josh and I own one of the first beachfront resorts on East Grand Traverse Bay ~ The Beach Haus Resort (built in 1967 and opened in '68). We also just completed the construction of the newest East Grand Traverse Bay resort ~ The Baywatch Resort. These are both unique properties and offer guest their own unique experience, but if you are looking for a private get-away cottage for your family or friends then The Cottage of East Bay is the perfect place for you. We are always at one of our other two properties so if you have any questions we are nearby.
We have four kids! Our oldest is a junior at Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration and she is an overachiever. Our second oldest is a freshman at Grand Valley State University and loves to write. Our third oldest is a junior at St. Francis High School and he loves football and baseball and our fourth oldest (aka - youngest) is a junior at Traverse City Central and she loves soccer.
Fun facts: My husband was on Michigan's football team from 89-93 and somehow managed to get a degree in Nuclear Engineering. (Something I could never do)
I went to Grand Valley State University and was on the rowing club for a couple of years and got my degree in Biology.
I love to fish, I like to hunt and I never have time to read.
I have traveled to Russia, Germany, Canada, Dominican Republic and many places in the US. My favorite vacation spot is Northern Ontario for fishing. I don't really do beach vacations because I have no patience to sit on a beach - kind of ironic I think since this is what I love to offer my guests.
I have very little social life because I spend so much time socializing with guests. We like to talk.....
