The appartament is located in a nice area of Sassari, only 5 minutes walking from the city center and even less to supermarkets and pharmacy. It is located at the 5th floor (with elevator) and it is very quite. Beaches are at about 30 mins by car.

The space

From the living room's terrace there's a beautiful view of the city and the sea and in sunny days it is even possibe to see the Asinara island. There's a bathroom with shower on the first floor and a toilet on the second, connected to the big bedroom. In the kitchen there are many plates, cups, glasses and pans that can be used. Coffee and tea can also be found in the cupboard over the kitchen. In all rooms there is air conditioning.

Interaction with guests

I live in Luzern and come back to Sassari during my holiday. When I'm not there my parents will get care of the guests.

Other things to note

I've spent long time in this apartament and I really love it. I've personally chosen all the objects around (and brought some from my travels) and you can find some of my books in the library (please fell fre to read them during your stay!). I still stay there for short periods when I come to Sardinia and the house is not booked, so it is not just an apartament I rent but one I also use sometimes :) this makes it more personal and cosy than a house for rent.

Family with kids, we are used to travel with minimum of comfort and are very flexible as this is part of the pleasure of the discovery and travel. So I have one adjective to describe our experience : unlucky. As there was always an excuse given by the owner to all issues we faced, I can simply say that we were unlucky for our 5 nights there. Unlucky to find a dirty apartment : we had to clean 7 (SEVEN!) time the floor to avoid getting my family feet dark after every five minutes. 1rst reason given : maybe some dust came from outside when windows were opened. 2nd reason given : maybe the company in charge of the cleaning did not do properly his job? I spent only 4 hours of my time doing cleaning… I did not appreciate. And 7 times… my view is that the occupant of the apartment is not a big fan of cleanliness and does not think this is essential for seasonal renting. Unlucky to not have any water pressure to take a shower at any time in the day or night (35 seconds to get 1L (ONE) of water compared to 7 seconds in my house. Reason given : Maybe they were rationing water. 3 girls with long hair… No a funny moment! My view is that it is time to ask a plumber to repair and increase pressure, especially as there is a second bathroom that can not be used (indicated in the description) due to same issue. Unlucky to not have the possibility to use all air conditioners otherwise no more electricity in the apartment… Reason given : maybe this is linked to the exceptional warm period. My view is that power of electric meter has to be increased. Unlucky to have to choose between having 2 air conditioners (for the rooms) and hot water otherwise no more electricity (again). We had to switch off hot water tank to get the 2 air conditioners in rooms and then we could sleep (it was 35 degrees in the rooms (under the roof)). Cold water, in general no one likes. Cold and few water : showers were a nightmare. Windows can not be fully closed (locks are broken), but not sure thieves will take risk to enter in the apartment at the 5th floor. There is water infiltration in the wall of the living room hidden by cushions (just for information for family with young children who are naturally very curious and could touch). Except that, apartment is big > 80m2 (long hour to clean), calm (5th and 6th floor so very hot), electricity circuit is downstairs (we experienced two power cuts due to usage of both air conditioners and hot power tank). Special thanks to the owner's parents who were nice and available. We were the first travellers that they welcomed so they were very kind and careful. But it does not change my view of the appartment as only after few...

Dear Isabelle, thanks for your feedback. As I already told you I'm sorry you had a bad experience. About the cleaning as I already said the house was fully cleaned by a company just few days before your arrival in front of my mother and never used after. Towels and sheets were buyed appositely for you, washed (alone) in the washing Maschine and ironed and never used before. Water pressure is effectively low but if you don't use many taps together it works fine. As I told you, you have arrived in a week exceptionally hot and water was rationated in most of the city. I don't know if this fact could have had an influence. About electricity: most of apartments in Italy have 3kwh of electricity available. Three air conditioning at 18 degrees plus fridge at minimum temperature (especially when it is so hot outside) and water boiler all day on are far over the maximum electricity available.

Simplemente perfecto!
