5 berth caravan, 2 doubles and a bunk a small children, ideal for a family or couple, shower/toilet and electricity. Beautiful, rural location, we have sheep, rabbit and ducks you are welcome to meet, or you can keep yourselves to yourselves!

The space

We are located on the North Devon coastline, we have a small-holding and a caravan situated on our land which we are making available to rent. Family and friends use it and makes a lovely secluded base. There is plenty of space to run around or by road access to Cornwall and Devon alike. Please be aware we do not currently have drinking water and are a drive away from any shop, so we advise you bring your own bottled water and plenty of food supplies. Water is supplied for the caravan's toilet and washroom.

Guest access

Guests are welcome to explore the grounds, but we would keep the house private.

Interaction with guests

We are happy to socialise but equally will leave you in peace!

This was an ideal stay for our family! The caravan was in very good condition and well stocked for cooking and relaxing. Helen's family was so welcoming, we all had a lovely time chatting with them and seeing the property. They were so generous in letting our kids play on the trampoline and zipline, and showing us the neighbourhood farm. We loved it!!

A magical place for anyone - we were a family with three children who loved the little farm and nearby beautiful beaches. There is lots to do if you love being outside and in the countryside - countryside at its best. There are animals, trampolines, zip wires and open space for kids and adults. The caravan has all you need. The hosts are very welcoming and happy to show you round the little farm they have. There is a pub not too far, a beach not too far and we were lucky enough to be there for the carnival. We will be back one day soon.

Helen and Simon are wonderful hosts that made us feel very welcome at their lovely small holding. We had our own secluded corner of their farm with a well equipped modern caravan with hot running water. They also provided a fire pit and logs, a compost toilet to use and an awning full of useful electrical stuff - fridge freezer, toaster, sockets for charging. They are very friendly and invited our kids to play in their garden whenever they wanted, yet also gave us our privacy. It is secluded so bring your own supplies, however there is a co-op 10 min drive away. This is a beautiful part of north Devon from which to explore the wonderful beaches and coastal paths. Highly recommended!

A lovely caravan in beautiful Hartland, with a wonderfully friendly and helpful host family. We were warm and comfortable despite the English weather, and enjoyed the friendly sheep, the compost loo (there's one inside the caravan too) and sitting around the fire. Our son (5) loved caravan life!

Incredibly warm hosts who were tremendous in helping us to have a great time. Nothing was too much trouble and we really felt looked after. The caravan itself is cleverly located on a part of the property that gave us our own space, including a generous outdoor area, yet was still only around 50 metres from the main house. The location is very rural & isolated so ensure you stock up prior to arrival. It was perfect for our short stay whilst we were walking the SW Coastal Path as it's only a 10/15 minute walk from the path. The caravan itself was very comfortable. It is snug and isn't the Ritz, so don't come expecting luxury, however it is clean, warm, and equipped with everything you'd need. The awning outside is large and gave us extra space to eat & relax in. This would be a great place for kids as there is loads of space to safely run around in, animals to see, and lots of things to do (to get them off their tablets, phones, etc!) This accommodation was fantastic for us but the best thing was the genuine warmth shown by our hosts. They were so friendly and helpful - without being overbearing - that we felt really valued. Thank you Si, Helen, and family.

This is a beautiful place to get away from it all, a truly wonderful location with stunning beaches nearby. Our hosts provided lots of extras to make our stay more comfortable, ie microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge freezer and lots of charging points for gadgets! We would thoroughly recommend this Hideaway!
