Beautiful and walkable

This area is scenic and easy to get around.
Our lovely and peaceful home is located in a great neighborhood. 5 minutes to the ocean and 10 minutes to downtown. Near the centre of the city in a safe, quiet, family friendly neighborhood with fabulous restaurants and coffee shops nearby. There is a farmers market within walking distance every Sunday and a playground next to the house for children. A bike path is a block away and can take you anywhere in the city. Or, relax at home in our comfortable home with a sunny back patio to relax on.

The space
Our home is beautifully decorated with original art and comfortable furnishings. It is quiet and relaxing and a fabulous oasis after a busy day touring the city. All of our beds are new and comfortable and we use only cotton sheets, and natural fabrics as well as ecofriendly cleaners and detergents. Our home is completely scent and chemical free.

Guest access
The house has 2 bedrooms the first has a King size bed as well as a dresser for your belongings. The second bedroom has a single day bed and a single trundle bed. The living room has comfortable seating for 6 with beautiful original art and an electric fireplace. We have a large flat screen tv with Netflix, cable and Apple TV. There is also a computer with guest access and wifi.

We have a front and back porch for our guests to use. The back porch has a dining table and seating for 6 as well as a barbecue. We have a small herb garden on the front porch which you are welcome to. Our kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove, oven and dishwasher. We will leave cooking supplies such as olive oil, salt and pepper and coffee and tea. We have an espresso machine, mixer, toaster, blender, coffee grinder as well as many hand tools. There are board games and puzzles. We have a blue tooth speaker. Our home is very comfortable with multiple seating areas and access to the outside.

Neighbourhood highlights

Kitsilano is a quiet, family oriented, beachside neighbourhood very close to downtown. We are within walking distance to two amazing beaches, Kits Beach and Jericho beach. You can paddle board at Jericho sailing club and perhaps spot a harbour seal or whale (if you're lucky) in English Bay or swim at the oceanside Kits beach pool. Kitsilano is traditionally the city's Greek neighbourhood and is home to an annual Greek Days at the end of June.Many local vendors sell fresh produce both organic and non organic. The Kitsilano farmers market every Sunday is one of the city's largest markets and is filled with fabulous vendors selling produce, meats, and baked goods as well as always a few local beverage producers with beer, wine and spirits. There are multiple bakeries and coffee shops nearby as well as some of the cities highest rated farm to table restaurants. The renown Granville Island market is a short drive or bus ride or for those who like a long walk it can be reached on foot in about 30 minutes. We are a few blocks from the seaside bike route that runs from the tip of the UBC peninsula throughout the city crossing Granville island, False Creek, the West End, the Stanley Park seawall, through downtown and into East Van. Though Kitsilano is close to the action of the city our quiet no through street is an oasis. A wonderful neighbourhood to come home to at the end of a busy day.
