Room is blue and cool with a TV. Room is at the quiet end of the hall. Bathroom is private for guests, and is located at opposite end of hall.
We have hosted exchange students and love meeting people. Puyallup is a great location for staging your Pacific Northwest Visit. We are social and we want to meet you. We can provide an extra bed area on an air mattress in the lounge next to the bedroom. Please just stipulate that preference.
1. Bathroom has a sink, shower-tub, and toilet.
2. We will set out a breakfast of bagels or pastries, fresh fruit, tea, and orange juice (if my husband is home, there will be coffee) in the kitchen each morning.
Guests have access to their bedroom, the TV lounge on the second floor, their own bathroom, the kitchen, and the patio. We'll have a house key for you so you can come and go as you need.
Interaction with guests
I work from home quite often, so I am around to answer questions, give directions, and help you with whatever you need.
Other things to note
We prefer guests knock instead of ringing the door bell.
There is a shelf in the fridge for you to use if you have anything to keep cold.
We are usually up early.
We are usually 'lights out' by ten sort of people--so we're not late night socializers. Don't let that stop you though from coming in when you need to.
One of our dogs has extreme anxiety.
The other dog is extremely social and a herder. If you are out late, he will most likely sleep at the top of the stairs until you come home and he knows you're safe in your room. He is very loving.
Quiet time after 10:00 PM/no cooking after 10:00
No late night coming and going (it wakes the dogs).
No drugs, drunken behavior, or profanity
I'm a writer for Harlequin books and a professor. I love to travel with my family.
