I have spent 2 years lovingly restoring my special house situated in Sydenham street which is 30 seconds from the heart of Harbour Street where you will find all the very best of Whitstable including boutique stores, thriving art scene, restaurants and so much more! The Beach is less then a 5 minute walk & the beautiful catherdral city of Canterbury is a 15 minute drive away.
**Weekday Special £120 per night (Mon-Thurs)**.
**Weekends £170.00 per night (Fri-Sun)**.

The space

The house is in a perfect spot to be in the hub off it all, literally open your front door turn right and your on Harbour street.
Watch the oyster festival from the front door.
Turn right into harbour street and the working harbour is a 5 min walk from the house.
Bicycle hire is next door but two from the house.

Guest access

Front door and side gate to garden can both be used.

Interaction with guests

I will always be available by phone or text for guests or in person if required.
I like to give my guests their space.

Other things to note

Please be mindful that the downstairs wooden floors react very badly to water and spills ,if left on the floor it bows very quickly, and the wood planks come away from the joints.

Lindz's place is immaculate, well spec'd and ideally placed, and Lindz herself was a flexible host with great communication. There is free parking on the street but we struggled to get a place so used the nearby car-park until a space became free. Worth noting that although the garden is enclosed, dogs aren't allowed to use the grass part of the garden so we had to take our dog out first and last thing so she could toilet elsewhere. Also it didn't affect our stay but might be a factor for others, the main bathroom is an en-suite to the main bedroom. Small points but might be important to others, we certainly plan to return though!

Thanks Adi For your feedback.. I do understand about the garden but the dogs are allowed to do doggie stuff on the outside patio area. The garden is gated because it’s a memorial garden to my late parents, and I just wanted to keep it special. Your perfect guests and you are both very welcome back

We had the WOW factor soon as we opened the door. Very well designed house and very clean and Dog friendly. Great location right next to the town, many bars and restaurants & cafes nearby. Will we go back? Most defiantly. Thank again Lindz a thumbs up from us.

What a great place :) Lindz's house is in a fantastic location, right near everything you could want to be near in Whitstable. It was sparklingly clean, very comfortable and beautifully decorated; despite proximity to the main high street, it was not noisy at all. Check-in was very easy and Lindz is very good at communicating promptly. We would definitely recommend this as an excellent base for a Whitstable trip. One thing to bear in mind is parking - if you arrive on a Friday you may not get parking on the house's road itself, but there is a huge and very reasonably priced public car park a couple of mins walk away.
