Rustic, privately located property in a stunning location just one mile from beautiful village of Crickhowell. Situated 100m from Brecon Canal, a kayak comes with the house, perfect to explore the canal. This house has no dishwasher, TV or mod-cons, instead it offers beautiful gardens, terrace with views of the mountains, access to hill walking, cycling and canoeing. Due to the very high terraced walls in the garden this property is not suitable for young children (under 5), sorry.

Our family of four (two children aged 6 and 8) enjoyed a lovely cosy stay in Julia’s home. The house is in a great location for either walking along the canal or venturing out into the National Park. I particularly enjoyed sitting in the rocking chair in the Welsh-style country k…

Think Narnia. If you have young kids (mine are 5 and 7), that's the kind of adventure they can have just hanging out at Julia's place. As for me and my wife (who were full of cold all week) slow days relaxing on the terrace and cooking comfort food on the Aga were the perfect ant…

I like cycling, fell running and gardening, hanging out with my kids, going on adventure holidays and getting a good life/work balance. I like to live a simple, non-materialistic life and my home very much reflects this. Comfortable but no frills.
