Our Bunkhouse borders the Apache National Forest. Off the back deck lie ponds, the Little Colorado River and millions of acres of wildness.

Out the front door is the village's Main Street, with a walking path that meanders through town to the end of the road in one direction and to restaurants in the other.

There are some comfortable chairs on the front porch and rear deck, along with a gas grill.

Set a spell.

The space

There is a kiva-style ladder that accesses the sleeping area in the loft, which has restricted headroom. Some guests find it useful to bring slip-on footwear for nightly trips up and down the ladder. Our Bunkhouse is not for everyone, but most everyone who stays here is genuinely pleased.

Other things to note

There is plenty of parking for a boat/trailer. The Bunkhouse shares its half-acre with the owners' residence and a commercial building that houses an art gallery and real estate office.

Janet’s Place was absolutely perfect. Quiet. Cozy. Very comfortable. It had everything I needed and more. My favorite was the wood-burning stove. I highly recommend her place. My next Greer trip, I’ll stay here.

This was the best Airbnb vacation I've ever had! My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay in Janet's beautiful bunkerhouse. The town of Greer is such a scenic town and everyone was incredibly friendly. We will be telling all of our friends and family about this great find and we can't wait to go back!

Dont expect to get wifi or internet, but with views like these, you certainly dont need it. The little Colorado river is within walking distance behind the cabin. We caught trout from the river and had wonderful dinners at night at Molly Butler's. Truly, a hidden gem.
