Sue was an exceptional host. Meadow Cottage is as idyllic as it reads. I cost Jersey for work and it suited my needs perfectly. On my first eveninb I arrived late, after a long day of working and Sue kindly provided me with a delicious dinner. I would highly recommend Sue and Meadow Cottage to others and hope to be back again soon.

Oh so comfortable accommodation in idyllic location. Sue was the perfect host. The accommodation was lovely, comfortable and spotlessly clean. A picture postcard cottage, quiet, yet not far from St Helier and beaches. Sue provided a continental breakfast with home-made marmalade, granola etc. There were beautiful Jersey cows in the field close to the cottage and tranquility in abundance. Lovely accommodation, linens and hospitality. Faultless. We will be back ...

We came for peace and quiet and this is what we found. Our accommodation has been fantastic and our host friendly. We didn't want to be within walking/ spitting distance of the beach and therefore this has been a perfect venue for us. It only takes 20 minutes to walk into St. Helier (downhill). We were cowards and took the bus back!

Thoroughly enjoyed 8 nights' stay in Meadow Cottage. Sue was a perfect host and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The accommodation is very spacious, with a large bedroom and full bathroom and also a private sitting room, which we didn't expect. A beautiful country retreat away from hustle and bustle, yet just a 10-15 minute walk to a restaurant and shop in the local village and close to public transport. Greatly appreciated our daily breakfast goodies, including fresh fruit and delicious home made granola! I fully recommend this accommodation to couples or single travellers. You will not want to leave!

Interaction with guests

I hope to be at home when you arrive, and to see you settled in. I am usually around in the morning and evenings, but may be out during the day - there is a notepad on the hall table for you to leave me a message if I am out.
