Each tent is on a wooden deck with a proper king-sized bed, proper duvets, pillows, crisp white sheets and a wood burner. David and Moira are very clear the most important things when taking a restful break are a good night’s sleep & a good mug of coffee in the morning. The kitchen is equipped with (hopefully!) everything you need – cafetieres, a kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave and crockery & cutlery galore.

The space
David and Moira are your hosts at Herefordshire Glamping and they actively encourage you to put away the phone, sit, chat, have a glass of wine and just catch your breath! There are just two white canvas bell tents set in three acres of beautiful, peaceful Herefordshire countryside where the only noise you’ll probably here are the wild geese on the pond or cows munching in the hedgerow.

Other things to note
We hope the weather during your stay will be great and we try to make you as comfortable as possible but please remember we cannot control the weather and are, therefore, unable to offer a refund if the Great British weather lets us down and the heavens open. You are spending nights under canvas! If you wish to amend or cancel your booking, we require twenty one days clear notice.
We’ve tried to organise everything so you don’t have to pack the car to the rafters to stay here as you normally do while ‘ordinary’ camping. The kitchen has plates and dishes and glasses etc. along with lots of BBQ utensils, knives, cafetieres, a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and tea/coffee. You just need to bring food and some wine!
The tents are lit with candle lanterns but there is a torch if you need to go to the loo in the middle of the night- we are ‘properly’ dark here with no street lights or outside lights so you can see the stars very clearly.
We provide duvets, pillows, sheets and towels and have hot water bottles and blankets in case it gets a bit chilly. The tent does have a wood burner (basket of logs £5) but if you are someone who feels the cold, then we suggest you bring some PJ’s to sleep in and jumpers to wear during the evening.

We do have a fire pit and are happy to provide you with a big basket of logs for £5. Don’t forget the marshmallows!
You have your own BBQ and we start you off with charcoal, matches and some BBQ lighters.

Location

Aulden, England, United Kingdom

If you are feel like easing your way off the chairs, there are lots of local walks, stunning National Trust properties nearby, the famous Black and White trail or you could head off for foodie adventures in Hereford or Ludlow – both are around 13 miles away. And don’t forget – you are in the home of proper cider so it would be rude not to visit a couple of local producers while you are here.
