This is one of the best neighbourhoods you'll find, within walking distance to everything, yet off the beaten path. This is a SHARED listing with me, the homeowner, and my pet rabbits.

The price assumes double occupancy in the gold room. If you want two rooms for two people, book for 3.

Solo travellers are welcome to book on my other listing "Solo room", which allows for stays longer than 10 days.

The space
Danish design and antique-y. 3 bedrooms (one is mine), airy and spacious. One bedroom is gold and red, and the other is very Granny - and I love it. The upstairs bathroom, where the bedrooms are, is predominantly yours - I minimally use it. The main floor bathroom is mine, as is the entire basement.

Families are welcome for short stays. Children are welcome and I have some toys and children’s books.

The rabbits do come upstairs, so if you are allergic, sorry, but don't stay here. Rabbits can chew rubbery things and anything that has food in it. One of the bunnies is also a digger of all things blanket. If you're not in the room, keep your bedroom door closed so that they can’t come in.

The bedroom doors do not have locks. *You either trust the AirBnB ethos of living with locals in their home, or you stay elsewhere.*

6 months of the year, fish live in an aquarium on the kitchen counter. They are all named Steve.

Where you’ll be

Montréal, Québec, Canada

It's truly a great neighbourhood with everything you need on a daily basis; easy access to downtown and Old Montreal, and not complicated with traffic and parking. I often feel like the luckiest person in the world to have landed where I have. Not to brag, because I know that lots of people have wonderful places to live. I just feel like I have the best of Montreal in easy reach.

Ambivert (an introvert who's open) who likes sharing her home and so also tries to be a good guest. I love travelling and the hospitality of others inspires me. I would say for now that my life motto is Because I Said I Would. I'm also a runner, a vegetarian, and I like beer (in half-pint drafts: a total featherweight).
