After attending an exciting sports event, going on a bike tour or enjoying one of the many cultural highlights of the area, come home and relax in my peaceful home and quiet garden oasis. If you wish, I'll have a bottle of "Kaiserstuehler" wine from my hometown's region ready for you to enjoy as well.
The house is within easy walking distance to the "Schalke Arena" and Tram lines 301 & 301. It is less than a 5 minute drive from the A2 motorway exit to my home. You can leave my home by bike to reach a network of clearly sign-posted bicycle paths nearby.(** if these are also used for walking - "You can leave my home by bike or on foot to reach a network of clearly sign-posted pathways nearby.")
Only guests staying with me are allowed in my home. Smoking is allowed outside.
Because I get up early, it is my policy to ask you not to have loud conversations or music after 11pm
You are welcome to use the fully appointed kitchen to prepare a tasty meal or snack. Please ask me first if you would like to use the washing machine, TV or WLan.
Interaction with guests
Because I've lived here for decades, I can answer a wide variety of questions about the area and enjoy giving you insider tips on favorite places to go and special things to see & do. There are concerts, theaters, art galleries and sports events, as well as smaller local festivals and events happening all the time!
Please, take a look at my other advertisement for solo travelers.
