The flat was large and airy, the bedrooms are the largest rooms in the flat and it was ideal as a base to see the city. The owner lives in the flat upstairs which is useful if you have any queries. However, they do not check visitors in or out so we had to drop the key at the lettings agency which would be difficult if you are travelling on public transport. There are lots of places to eat and drink on Princes Avenue within 5 minutes walk and a good bus service into the city.

This property is lovely and clean with plenty of space and very high ceilings. It has two very generous bedrooms at the front, and a big kitchen at the centre of the property and a small lounge at the back. The bathroom is also a good size. The location is great - just about walkable into the centre of Hull and nice bars, cafés and amenities nearby. The avenues are an interesting area with a bohemian feel. The neighbour upstairs is also helpful and friendly. Parking was a little tricky on the road, especially at the weekend, and there were a couple of pieces of equipment missing that would have made the stay a tiny bit easier, hence my giving it four rather than five stars. Do note, also, that the property is ground floor and one of the bedrooms faces the street which takes a tiny bit of getting used to if you are of a slightly nervous disposition. Overall, however, we were delighted with our stay and would stay there again.

The flat was perfect for our trip to visit family and spend some time in the city. Spacious rooms, comfortably furnished and with the bonus of some outside space. The avenues are a lovely part of Hull, and the flat is in a great location close to the park as well as many shops, bars and restaurants and a short bus ride into the city centre. We hope to return.
