My apartment has 1 bedroom, 1 bath, 1 study room, and a private balcony. It is a very spacious 66.7 square meter apartment, stylish, peaceful and comfortable. The open floor plan makes it very bright and airy, and I have gone great lengths to design and furnish the space to make you feel at home.
The study room is independent and quiet, which is a great plus for those who need a dedicated room to concentrate during their stay.
*The big rooftop terrace is on a different floor, open to all residents of the building. But the apartment has a private balcony itself.
To ensure good rest and a safe stay:
1. There is one Queen size (153cm x 203cm) bed in the bedroom. If you need additional beds, there are 2 single-sized fold-up beds that you can put in the common area. The fold-up beds are of the highest quality.
2. The apartment is very quiet at night, and windows are insulated for sound
3. Blackout shades are installed on all windows.
4. The apartment building is equipped with advanced security systems and only residents are allowed access.
It it is quick to access both Tullamarine Airport and the CBD by driving or by public transportation. The apartment's proximity to shopping, dining and other amenities also makes staying here very convenient.
My apartment is great for groups of families, friends and colleagues, here for leisure or for work. It is also great for people who are here for the race days, as it is only 2-minute walk from the Moonee Valley Racecourse (Perfect for Cox Plate!), and a 5-min drive from the Flemington Racecourse (Perfect for Melbourne Cup!).
You will have the entire apartment to yourself, which includes:
High speed wifi throughout the apartment.
The TV is connected to Fetch TV, so you get 30 movies and a variety of TV channels just at your finger tip. (Note that there is no free-to-air channel)
A laundry room that has a brand-new high-end Fisher & Paykel washer, dryer and iron, all inside the apartment;
A fully-furnished gourmet kitchen, with brand-new high-end AEG oven and dishwasher, LG fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee makers (Italian Moka pots and French Press plunger), tea pot, and even a rice cooker!
And there are pots and pans, dishes and bowls, cups and glasses, silverware and utensils, basic condiments, etc., so your inner chef can shine!
1 designated secure undercover parking spot inside the building (Height clearance of the undercover garage: 2.15 meters); If you have more than 1 car, there are also guest parking in the garage (first-come first serve);
A rooftop terrace in the same building (on a different level, open to all residents of the building). Lounge back, or use the BBQ grill to sizzle some sausages as you enjoy the breathtaking view of the CBD and Melbourne Star.
Interaction with guests
I will be as much as you need me, and I usually respond to messages very promptly. It will be self check-in and check-out, but I can offer suggestion on what to do and what to eat should you need it.
Other things to note
This apartment building was completed in June 2017, and all appliances and furnitures were purchased brand-new in June 2017. So you will get the privilege of living in a sparkling brand-new modern apartment with state-of-the-art appliances and amenities!
I have another "3 bedroom+2 bath+1 study" listing in the same building, which can accommodate up to 6 people. It is great for big groups travelling together but desire some independence and privacy, if you each take one apartment unit. Also feel free to check out the reviews for the other listing to understand the location of both apartments and my hosting style.
It will be self check-in (anytime after 4PM) and check-out (Anytime before 10AM), so you can check in and check out them whenever you are ready within the specified time frame. I will send you detailed instructions as we approach your check-in date.
If you require early check-in (before 4PM) or late check-out (after 10AM): you have to communicate beforehand and they have to be pre-approved. I will do my best to accommodate, but I cannot confirm or promise until 1 day before your arrival date. In the event that I cannot accommodate early check-in, I can let you drop off your luggages when the housekeeper is cleaning the apartment for you, so that you can make the most out of your time here.
About "Security Deposit": It's not an upfront bond that you have to pay at the time of booking. It practically does not mean anything, unless you damage something, leave the apartment unusually dirty, or break any house rule. In those cases, I can make claims on the security deposit after your checkout.
- Observe quiet hours after 9PM on weekdays and 11PM on weekends. Excessive noise may result in eviction from the property with no refund
- No smoking, excessive drinking, drug, or any illegal activity
- Keep the apartment clean during your stay
-Turn off all lights, air-conditioner, and water when you are out and upon check out.
- Follow common courtesy, e.g. no trash in the common area or over the balcony
- Leave the property in a neat and tidy manner upon departure. This means used dishes are washed and put away, ovens and microwaves wiped out, all items returned to their original position, and rubbish disposed in the rubbish chutes.
-Any breakages or missing items in the apartment will be charged and deducted from your security deposits
- Please notify me in advance - even very last minute - if you have to change the number of guests. If there is room, I will be happy to adjust the booking through the normal provided channels on the website. But if you arrive with unregistered guests I will very regretfully turn you away with no refund in accordance with Airbnb protocol.
