Our home is a beautiful house on 2 levels with a big garden, 3 bedrooms.
Located in the plateau area, you are 2 minutes from the Park Lafontaine, and from every shop and bar you might need. The metro is a 10 minutes walk.

The space

Our beautiful home will make you feel like you are in the country, in the heart of Montreal. The ground floor offers a choice of places to sit: in front of the stove, in the solarium looking at the garden, around the dining table, in the library corner.

Upstairs, you'll find 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed, a vast closet and a very big window overlooking sky and trees. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom, which is also an office, has a single bed. It has a sky light, a window and a private entrance.

There is a beautiful natural bathroom upstairs with a sky light above the tub. You can bath looking at the sky.

There is a toilet downstairs.

The house is 1600 sq feet.

The bedding and towels are included. There is a washer, dryer, dishwasher, toaster, oven, stove, fridge. There is one parking spot in the back.

It's available for the whole winter : )

Other things to note

The house comes with her hosts, the fishes. They would be thankful if you could feed them every day or other day. I can organize someone coming to feed them if you are away for a few days.
The plants around the house need weekly watering. I can organize someone to come water them if plants are not your cup of tea.

Two girl friends and I stayed in this beautiful home for a week while visiting old friends in Montreal. I am from Montreal so I already had honed in my search to the charming and magnetizing neighbourhood of the Plateau. When I looked on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps and saw the proximity to Parc Lafontaine, I was very excited! As I wanted to show my friend from Seattle the sides to Montreal that locals know and love, and tourists might never find their way to without a local guiding them there. When we arrived and explored the neighbourhood, sure enough, all the small graces of a residential neighbourhood in Montreal were present. A park to picnic in; a bakery to have amazing pastries from, and which even had non-pasteurized cheeses and other delicacies; beautiful architecture abounding in the homes in the area; St-Viateur bagel on Mt-Royal to sample authentic Montreal bagels from; great shopping on Mt-Royal; and even some great cocktails at a nice lounge, all within a few blocks. From the photos one can suspect the tranquility that might arise from spending time in this home. However, it is only when you step foot in the home and feel what Ramya has created that you can fully know. The space was very mindfully put together, with touches of comfort and coziness at every turn. You can wake up in the morning and have a cup of tea or coffee in her beautiful garden, listening to bird sounds and watching trees move in the wind. It really does feel like a country house, cabin in the woods, directly in the city. Especially with all the warm wood finishings scattered throughout the home. If the season is colder, you can sit in the comfortable couch next to large window/doors, still allowing a purview onto the outside world. This connection to the outside, to greenery, allows for a true place of rest. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, and is great to cook in. The rooms upstairs are similarly appeasing. I stayed in the master bedroom and the bed is very comfortable, with even an area to change in. There is a queen bed in the other room, and a single bed in the third room. There is a skylight in the third room, so if someone from your party will be sleeping there, be sure to bring an eye mask. And the bathroom. Oh, the bathroom. Skylight over a large bath/shower, again gives you a connection to nature. I stared at the vast sky above as I had a shower, and marveled at the natural light when I had a bath at another point. Each of us remarked that if we lived in Montreal, this would be our dream house. Ramya was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. Her tone was respectful and kind. Her friend showed us around when we arrived and checked us out, and was similarly pleasant and kind. We would definitely recommend this home to our...

I have lived in Montreal for 20 years, and I travel a few times a year. In those time, my home can become yours. I love my house, and I hope you will love it too!
