The house is located in the village of Salin de Giraud, in the heart of the Camargue Natural Park. It is a village of 2500 people which is nestled between the Rhone on one side (we are in the Rhone delta) and the plains of Camargue on the other.
Salin de Giraud is appreciated for its climate, its sandy beaches, and the beauty of the floral and animal landscape. There are many circuits of hiking, pedestrian, mountain biking, or horseback, fishing sites, etc ...
The beaches of Beauduc (16km) and Piemanson (11km) attract kite surfers, windsurfers and boarders, as well as specialists in fare-niente .... A naturist beach is also accessible .... Nature lovers will be conquered.
It produces salt and rice and the landscape is splendid especially since it is protected. The house is typical of the village, type Coron, late 19th, classified as a French heritage.
The apartment is on the ground floor, it is on one level. There is no highway at all, in the whole village, and few cars circulate, hence you can do everything on foot or by bike. Moreover, several bike hire companies are accessible in the village.
The apartment is crossing South-North and it has two entrances. One side garden / terrace to the south and one side to the north. There are no vis-a-vis, no noise or inconvenience of any kind ...
The garden is common as other rentals are also available in this house (see my other ad on Airbnb). However each has its own private terrace and in general nobody goes to the garden which is anyway large enough for this ...
You can leave pets free in the garden without any problem. The garden is fully fenced and the only condition is to guarantee on your side the cleanliness and calm concerning your animals.
Regarding bedding: the double bed is a Bultex (very good mattress brand) which is very comfortable. As for the beds on the mezzanine, there is also a double Bultex and another good mattress.
In short, you will be accommodated in comfort and calm in this quiet and restful property, all in a small village with a lot of cachet, a pleasant local life, all amenities on foot ...
