The Cabin: A couple can enjoy their own simple little space in an 'American-style' wooden cabin in an orchard, complete with log burner, BBQ, firepit & charming decor. No TV or WiFi.
The next-door basic caravan. Kids (up to 4 small ones) or 2 small adults can have their own 'sleep-over' in 'Primrose', a clean basic 2 berth retro caravan full of books & games. Nearby are tame Pigmy goats & a BBQ area/fire pit.
IMPORTANT: Please note when booking, please state number of people. Kids under 5 FREE.

The space
This is a rustic little ‘camp’to really get away from it all where you can 're-set' and reconnect with nature. Please note, there is abundant hot water and a small gas stove but NO TV or Wifi and only one plug for charging devices. NO central heating but there is a wall heater as well as the log burner - It's a chilly walk on the decking to your private loo and shower - please note we have a compost loo! Read our reviews to get a feel from other guests about this very special little retreat. HEATING NOTE: We supply your first generous lot of firewood then you purchase from there on in using the honesty box we have in our basic 'barn shop'.
Lucie's Unicorn Alpaca Walks. Walking with our alpacas, Dexter, Mo, and Fergus. A 1 hour experience. £20 per person or £50 per group. Perfect for couples, or families with children. Find out all about these amazing animals as you lead them around the farm with Lucie, our volunteer "Alpaca Chief" - don't forget your camera as there will be plenty of photo opportunities. A fun activity for all ages, this experience is perfect for any animal lover. Check out https://visitwaveneyvalley.co.uk/canoeing-on-the-river-waveney/

Guest access
Goat Camp is an exclusive getaway with access to nearly all areas on the farm though obviously on busy weeks, please respect other people's retreats and please don't let your children run about unattended before 9am - each retreat is hidden away so that everyone has space and privacy. Feel free to interact with the animals, enjoy a run along our runway (keep a good lookout for planes landing) and please don't let kids touch the electric fencing. Please note, due to the number of free-range animals we have a STRICTLY NO DOGS POLICY. We hope you understand.

Other things to note
Please note, the cabin is only heated by a wood burner and hot water bottles! Chickens and cats roam free-range. Our caravan is 2 berth and spacious so although our listing states we sleep 4, we could accomodate more CHILDREN if they are happy to share a large berth bed! We make every effort to clean your space and keep it bug-free but If you, or your children, are nervous of the odd crawly thing, spider or moth then please consider before booking. This is an outside wooden space which is hard to keep web-free but we try our best! There is an airstrip and helipad on site so please look up before crossing the airfield. There are also horses, rheas etc. contained within electric fences so please consider telling your children before they get a shock! Please no loud music or dancing with goats after 10.00pm on weekdays and weekends. Please also do not allow kids to play in front of the main farmhouse or on the driveway. All other areas are fine.

A truly magical area on the borders of Norfolk & Suffolk. Access to Southwold is a 25 minute drive away. There's a huge network of walks including the award-winning Angles Way which can be accessed from the other side of the road. Beccles and Bungay offer a great choice of shops from antiques to delicious delis. We have a great farm shop next door and some fabulous river routes to kayak or canoe

I've been a dedicated Airbnb Superhost for over four years, managing properties ranging from a 5-bed seaside home, an Artist's Studio in Moscow, a treehouse in the woods, to a yurt in a Suffolk meadow. I've done what feels like a hundred jobs in my time, as well as travelled around the globe which I hope goes some way in helping me understand a traveller's needs. Whether it's good books, a touch of luxury in the shower or a token gift to make you feel more at home, I love creating spaces which are quirky, comfortable, clean and full of character. I trained as a musician and film-maker so love anything arts-related. I'm also a keen aviator and animal-lover as you'll see if you ever pay a visit to one of my farm retreats.

During your stay
We consider ourselves welcoming and friendly but understand the need for space. Please text or email if you need anything. Again, I am sorry to have to reiterate, but this space is for the 'camping kind of people.' Especially in the Winter months. If you haven't camped before, then this won't be for you when it's cold. xx
