Judy was a terrific host. The place was as expected - a quaint cabin about thirty minutes north of Notre Dame. Overall, the place was neat and clean with linens provided and light refreshments in the refrigerator for breakfast. It was a peaceful area, and we would have loved to enjoyed the fire pit if the weather was a little warmer.

This was a fantastic rustic escape. Having no wifi or tvs really help you enjoy the company you are with.

Great communication with Judy. Large lot with plenty of space to roam. Hammock and fire pit available outside and a Large kitchen with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. For us it was a place to lay our heads down when going to and from South Bend. We stayed for 2 nights and on the first night we found we had additional rodent guests, 2 dead in the bottom of the garbage can and 1 scurrying around the kitchen. On the 2nd day we were informed of having someone come to the property to use the locked garage and deliver a trailer on the property. It was to our surprise that they were staying in said trailer next to the garage which hindered our use of the outdoor fire pit on night 2 since their dog was barking due to us coming home. Had requested use of the entire home and thought the property was included, unfortunately in our case we were incorrect.

Response from Judy:
so sorry to hear of the unexpected rodent guests!! It is getting chilly outside and they find their way in - I will work on this for the future. Thank you for being understanding about my friend and his trailer on the property - he needed a space and I needed to help him out. I will make a fire pit in another location there is plenty of rom n the property.

This place was great for a nearby wedding in Berrien Springs. Judy was very accommodating, and we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. We ate breakfast outside, lounged in the hammock, and had a bonfire at night.

My family and I had a great time at the house! We specially loved the hammock and the outdoor space around the house! Ms. Judy baked cookies for our arrival and there groceries on the fridge for our use! Ms. Judy was available for any questions we had! We truly had a great time!

We had an amazing, quiet, soul nourishing retreat at this home and loved every minute. Beautiful, giant old trees, lovely fire pit, sweet grounds and river and outbuildings to explore, it was a truly great time for our "family girls weekend" thank you Judy!

I am a nurse working and living in southwest Michigan because I enjoy the countryside. I love being in the fruit belt; to pick fresh cherries, peaches apricots whatever is in season and make them into treats for my friends and family. I bought the property that is now the AirB&B while I was still working in Chicago - it is a great get-away from the city, filled with birdsong and frogsong with great air. Floating down the river in kayak or tube transports to another time and space, very peaceful. I hope all can share this.
