The apartment is the mid-level residence of a three story building first built in 1922. It's a beautiful corner property two blocks from the beach & boardwalk. The minimum stay is 5 nights. Inquiries for less than 5 nights will not be entertained. Retail shopping on the main street is within easy walking distance. It's a very desirable location in Ocean City.
Have the nostalgic experience at the shore to be shared with the ones you love. The apartment has many original fixtures original to the building. The kitchen and bath are recently renovated. There is street parking only, air conditioning from window units, and a professional office below operating three days a week. The front porch provides a terrific space for relaxing or snacking outside. The kitchen, living and dining areas are all spacious and connect as an open floor plan.
Storage for beach chairs and umbrellas is available in the outside storage closet ground level in the back. Bicycles can be stored underneath the front stairway. There is a nice heated outdoor shower by the back stairs. The back stairway leads up to the kitchen.
Interaction with guests
I live on the mainland and not on location. Occasionally, a key lock box with access code is used for arriving guests. I'm always within easy contact for guests and can help as needed.
Other things to note
Guest ID Verification is a requirement. Sheets and pillow cases are stored on location. Please feel free to bring your own. If you do use the linens, please wash them. During the season, you'll need to purchase beach tags for beach access. If there's a hanging basket plant on the porch, you'll be asked to help water it!
Dishes to be cleaned by checkout. Sand should be kept to a minimum by using the outdoor shower upon returning from the beach. There is no outdoor grilling anywhere on the property.
I'm a multiple property owner and have traveled extensively for which I am grateful. I try my best as a host to be friendly, supportive and to stay out of the way when people are on holiday. I really enjoy outdoor activities such as road bicycling, mountain bicycling, stand up paddle boarding, skiing, hiking, tennis. Sometimes I drag out my surfboard and go to the surfing beach at 16th street.
