The space
The house is across from Jericho beach and next to Jericho park. This is a great place for people who want to be close to the beaches and the nature but have an easy access to the city attractions. Jericho Tennis Club and the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club are across the road. Jericho Sailing Centre is less than 10min seaside walk away. UBC is a short drive/direct bus ride away .
The suite has a self-check in and is spacious, quiet and private. There is a sofa bed in the living room that can sleep two extra people.

NOTE: There is no cable TV but there is a media centre (big TV with surround sound) for guests with HDMI output + Chromecast to stream content from guests' device

You get 4km of seaside walk with incredible views of the North Shore Mountains and downtown Vancouver - one of the best places for a walk, run or bike ride. For nature lovers the Pacific Spirit Park with 50km of trails is a short walk away. You can also rent kayaks or standup paddle boards from Jericho Sailing Club (10min walk), they also run a wide range of courses (kayaking, SUP, windsurfing).

The heart of Kitsilano is a short walk away. 20 min seaside walk to the Kitsilano beach and swimming pool and further 10min seaside walk to the Marine Museum, Space Centre and Museum of Vancouver.

The area around the house has a number of coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants (e.g. great Italian restaurant, three Japanese restaurants, organic pie shop, pizza, local pub, vegan desserts, famous cinnamon bun shop, dessert cafe) and grocery shops. All of these are two blocks away from the house (around Alma and 4th ave intersection).

The house is across the road from Jericho park and Jericho beach. Jericho Park is located at the beginning of a long seaside stretch that goes to Locarno and Spanish Banks beaches. It makes for a wonderful walk (around 4km one way). To the north you get amazing views of the Coastal Mountains and to the east - downtown Vancouver. Downtown is about 5km away, there is a separate seaside bike lane that goes all the way to downtown or you can go around False Creek to English Bay and Stanley Park. You can bike or walk to Kitsilano and take a water taxi across to downtown (they take bikes too). Otherwise a bus stop is 5min from the house. If you have your own car/rental, we have extra parking spots.
