My home is located in a small village in Kent County New Brunswick. We are 20 minutes from Kouchibouguac National Park and an hour and a half to two hours from Fundy National Park. Moncton is approximately 45 minutes south and we are located a block away from the Richibucto River, with a nice trail in behind the house. For winter guests we are just off the NB snowmobile trails and there is cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails. I have a cozy pellet stove to warm up to.

Guest access

They can enjoy my gardens in the backyard, I do have a room upstairs on the landing where there's a computer desk and chairs which is available for use

Interaction with guests

I love socializing with people but I also respect their private space

Other things to note

I do have pets, therefor even though I vacuum every day there is pet hair. They are not allowed to enter the bedroom. I cover the bed to make sure

Jennifer's place is adorable, interesting, clean - especially given she has pets. The shower was super. Her puppy is a sweetheart, as are the cats, who gave us plenty of space at breakfast - which was quite tasty. Jennifer is amazing. Her energy, her hospitality, her kindness. It was a gift to have met her and seen a bit of New Brunswick through her eyes. This was the quintessential AirBnB experience.

Jennifer is a great host with a charming older home. Her pets are friendly and well behaved. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back again without hesitation.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and with this homely vibe that made us feel like were coming back home for Christmas. :) Jessica is warm and friendly and her pets are adorable. Thank you Jessica for being so flexible with our late check-in, we truly appreciated it. All the best!

The host: Very welcoming, flexible with check-in times, social, and knowledgeable about the area. It was a pleasure talking with her, and learning about NB as well as local spots. Her recommendation to pass by Bouctouche was excellent, a lovely little spot. The pets are friendly, and really well behaved. The room: Enormous, fabulously clean, fresh linen, towels, home-made soap - and a really comfortable bed. Due to road noise from outside, earplugs could be recommended for some. There is no A/C, but there is a large fan. The location: Excellent. 30 min driving from Kouchibouguac, few minutes off the main highway. A Tim Hortons and a Subway are minutes away, as well as a little grocery store. The bonus: a little healthy breakfast and coffee. Definitely a place to say when passing by!

My daughter and I had a fantastic first trip to Rexton, New Brunswick. Jennifer made us feel welcome and comfortable very quickly in her community. She offered us wonderful recommendations for activities throughout our days in town. Jennifer provided us with a beautiful selection of toiletries. The complimentary breakfast each morning was a tasty surprise! We will definitely be back to visit Jennifer again!

How cool to stay in an old post office! Also a great place to stay if you love pets. She has wonderful pets. Given its location, probably not the best place to stay if you are a light sleeper as there is a convenience store and gas station across the street. Jennifer is super nice and couldn't have been more gracious. We enjoyed the Netflix too:)
