Furry friends welcome

Bring your pets along for the stay.
With spectacular views of Bannow Bay, The Silver Mine is a place that induces a long, deep intake of breath. It’s like a look-out post to the elements – expansive skies meet earth and fields that slope to the sea. Blackhall and Bannow Island, within a five-minute drive, have long sandy beaches. The wonderful Tintern Abbey and Colcough Gardens are fifteen-minutes away, and Wexford town is twenty-five.

The space
The Silver Mine is surrounded by countryside. It’s situated on the private grounds and has unobstructed views of the sea. The interior has been lovingly designed and constructed, with solid timber flooring and slate tiles downstairs, carpet upstairs, and a bespoke kitchen by a local craftsman. It has a piano and plenty of books! It is centrally heated, has a large wood-burning stove and is very well insulated.

Guest access
The whole dwelling is available. It’s a big house, with four bedrooms, a study downstairs, a sitting/TV room, a large kitchen/dining area, an impressive ‘sunroom’ with 10 feet high walls, and three bathrooms. The four bedrooms upstairs can sleep 8 comfortably. There is a TV and good wifi.
