Come immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Puerto Rico in our cozy, comfortable, and newly constructed bedroom and bathroom overlooking the beautiful national rainforest. Enjoy your own private entrance and a refreshing outdoor shower. We are located on 9 acres of forest, a 10-15 min walk to the river and a short 15 minute drive to beautiful Caribbean beaches!

The space
The space offers an immersive experience in the foothills of El Yunque, surrounded by lush nature. You'll encounter various animals on the property, including a friendly dog, cats, chickens, ducks, and other delightful creatures. Listen to the enchanting sounds of coquis, especially on rainy days. The room includes a newly constructed bed and bathroom and a private entrance and outdoor shower. Our room is beautifully decorated and immaculately maintained to ensure your comfort. Keep in mind that this is a rainforest, so you may hear and even catch a glimpse of the various critters that call it home. Please note that kitchen amenities are not available at this time.

Guest access
Guests have access to all communal terraces, parking facilities, and the freedom to explore our expansive 9-acre property. You'll also find a hammock on the property. Our eco-friendly property offers a unique retreat in the heart of Puerto Rico's beautiful natural surroundings.

During your stay
We live at the property with volunteers. We do interact with guests every now and then but we mostly respect their space but we are available when needed.

Other things to note
Please be aware that our property operates off the grid, providing an authentic rainforest experience. You can take advantage of the serene atmosphere to disconnect and immerse yourself in nature. Additionally, the host is available to provide helpful recommendations for restaurants, activities, and tours in the area, making your stay even more enjoyable. The main property at Casa de Vida Natural was once a thriving health spa, but, having been damaged in storms a few years ago, the spa is not currently open. The little cottage with the big views that's for rent used to be for guests at the health spa, but is now just available! With scenery this stunning, it seems a shame to leave the cottage empty! Jane Goldberg is the owner of this magnificent property, but currently resides in New York City (where she still owns a holistic health spa). Jyl Lawler (the person you see in the profile photo) is our gal on the ground in Puerto Rico and a delightful host. It's a team effort, but we can't wait to meet you!
