Chagai has been a wonderful host, waiting for us at arrival in the middle of the night (!); explaining everything in the apt., offering advice (Shopping, Restaurants, Sightseeing, Transportation etc.) and checking back with us during our stay. Easy check-out (deposited key with neighbour).
The apartment is located in an older, but recently renovated standard apartment building at the dead end of a small residential street with windows facing towards large Hayarkon park (a nice popular recreation area); the background noise of the nearby highway can be heard day and night - not too loud however. The photos describe the apartment well. If you drive, the reserved parking spot on the premises is an essential asset since parking is very difficult in TelAviv (streetside parking often unavailable, or for residents only, paying parking lots). Getting to TelAviv city center takes some time (bus, taxi, or public bicycle rentalTel-o-fun - a nice ride along Hayarkon river); traffic can be very heavy many hours of the day. Excellent location (close to highway) for self-driving trips to both North Israel, or Jerusalem/Dea sea. A litte grocery, good fresh fruit shop, and bakery are within walking distance. For dining go to TelAviv and enjoy the fine variety of restaurants, bars and nightlife. And be sure not to miss the famous cool and relaxed TelAviv beach life!
