Stayed here for the Grand Illumination with my mom and we loved it! The house was charming and Rolf made sure we were comfortable, providing everything from fresh towels to fresh coffee. We will definitely be staying here next time we visit Williamsburg.

Rolf was a very accommodating host. Knows the area and knowledge of local cuisine. Wonderful location with terrific views, a short walk the River pier. Abundant wild life. The rear screened porch and open air deck provide relaxation after a long day of site seeing. The room was spacious and very clean. The home is well kept. This property is highly recommended!!!

Rolf's place is exactly as described and a great place to stay for one person or a couple looking to explore Williamsburg. His place is set in a nice rural neighborhood but still within a 20 minute drive or so to all the attractions and any stores you may need to visit.

The room was exactly as describe. It was very spacious and comfortable with everything we could have asked for. Highlights of this property are the beautiful and peaceful setting, it’s proximity to Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown, and the quiet and privacy. I really enjoyed drinking morning coffee on the porch overlooking the river. And the quiet, comfortable, and private room was perfect to come back to at the end of each of our busy days. Thank you, Rolf!

Our stay at Rolf's home was wonderful. He gave us easy to follow directions to find our way. The room and bathroom were very clean. The deck was wonderful for enjoying a cup of coffee and deer watching in the mornings. We were far enough from the city that it was quiet and relaxing. But close enough that it didn't take forever to get to shopping and restaurants. I highly recommend staying at Rolf's!
