- We gladly welcome you to our house - guests from various cultures and backgrounds. We kindly ask, and appreciate, that you and your guests abide by the following rules - they're in line with airbnb community rules. Kick off your shoes and make yourselves at home. Literally, to ensure we keep the floorboards squeaky clean for our guests’ enjoyment, we have a no shoes policy inside the house. Good time to bring your slippers. While we do a thorough professional clean between each guest stay, we kindly ask that prior to leaving, you clean and put away any dishes or kitchenware used and put towels & linens in the basket in the bathroom. It helps us get through our cleaning process quicker and allows us to keep cleaning costs down for you and future guests. We have a no smoking policy - although you are welcome to smoke either out front or back. What you do in your personal time is entirely up to you, but when staying at our place we have a strict no drug use policy. This is just the law… not so much one of our rules. We understand that accidents happen. But we do ask that you please let us know when they do. Chances are we can fix them as effortlessly as possible which also means better chances of having your full security deposit returned too. To keep our costs down, and pass those savings onto our guests, we kindly ask that you switch off lights and the A/C or heating when they are not in use or leaving the house. Mother nature thanks you, too.If in doubt, please reach out to us. Thank You!

Helen was an excellent host. Great communication. The place was perfect. Had a full sized stove and fridge... Great since I made Thanksgiving dinner. I left something and she answered quickly so that I could go back and get it. Thank you!

Staying at Helen's was great! Signing the chair was such a cute touch to the already nice decor in the apartment. Helen was very helpful in getting back to me with all of my questions. Checking in was super easy and simple. And oh the bed was oh so comfortable!

I like literature, critical theory, local music and shows, the Criterion Collection, cooking with ingredients most people have never even heard of, creative writing, Virginia Woolf, 4 Barrel Coffee, Baudrillard, pretending that I don’t love the band Journey, attempting to local my zen state, and sleeping in past noon then having coffee on Sundays.I love thunderstorms but I can’t live without sunshine. I find beauty in almost everything about this incredible world we live in… I like to swing at the park, play in the snow, and stomp in puddles. I love camping but hate freezing at night.
