does Airbnb offer a 6th star? This place is truly amazing. The location is a convenient 5ish minute uber from downtown and is near a lot of great sites. The street is pretty quiet which is a plus in the city. And the place itself is truly awesome. The access in and out is easy and quick but secure. All the rooms are nice with the furniture and features and especially clean. I have stayed at nice hotels that are not as clean as this place. The bathrooms were lavish and especially clean(which is a big plus for me) and all of the beds were particularly comfortable which is not the case at most places. The decor is modern and classy with fresh flowers which is a nice touch. All of the furniture is nice and comfortable and the main bathroom is particularly special with a big bathtub and a tv aimed for the tub. The shower was also specifically excellent. If you are going to stay here I would only suggest adding more time in your trip to truly be able to enjoy this wonderful place. It made me wish I were less busy to relax and enjoy the features. The Co Host was also practically nonexistent so do not let that steer you away from this gem in a great city. She was also extremely responsive via text/email so any question I did have was answered immediately. If you come to Philadelphia and do not stay here you are making a mistake.

We had a lovely stay at Bruce's place! It is a nice, renovated space in a beautiful neighborhood of rowhouses. Very close to the Art Museum, Eastern State Penitentiary Museum, and restaurant options---a pretty, fun area to walk around in. The accuracy of the listing isn't perfect--there are three bedrooms, but as others have mentioned, the third bedroom is very, very small and one member of our party got the short end of the stick room-wise in comparison to the others. That said, the bed was extremely comfortable in the middle room, where I slept. Erin, the host who lives on-site, was very friendly and helpful when contacted (and was super respectful of our space--she made herself scarce). Although there were fewer frills than some airbnbs I've stayed in, there is a Keurig stocked and ready for guests, which was a nice perk.

We were visiting Philadelphia to participate int he Head of the Schuylkill Regatta. Bruce's place was located conveniently enough to be able to get to the riverfront and Boathouse Row quickly by car or even by bicycle. The location was also convenient to restaurants and main streets. Speaking of streets...street parking is an issue in this area so the private parking space right next to the house was golden! We were able to walk to dinner in the neighborhood. There were three of us but we occupied two of the rooms. The third little room was used for clothing. Erin, who lives in the basement of the home and runs the Airbnb is kind, helpful and communicative. She responded quickly when we had questions or needed help with the remote controls. She kept the kitchen clean and organized and we had space for our food in the refrigerator. We would stay at Bruce's place again!

It was fine. Location is good. Right by the museum and close to everything. Third room is really small and thin walled. Didn't have toilet paper and towels and trash weren't taken out when we checked in but Erin helped. Not the best airbnb I've stayed at but not the worst

The house itself was nice, well- stocked, clean, comfortable, and in a good location. Bruce's communication was okay. The tenant Erin lives downstairs and shares the kitchen with the visitors. It would be nice if she left shelfspace in the refrigerator for visitors. Here was the main problem: Listing originally stated the house sleeps 7. We booked it for three couples (which was stated directly to the host) and then found out that the 3rd bedroom only had a twin bed in a tiny, tiny room. We were also told then that the couch downstairs pulled out into a double bed, which it did not, and that there was a parking space, which there was not. Since we knew ahead of time that the 3rd bedroom only had a twin bed, we brought a blowup mattress and set it up in the living room. Honestly, this is not what we expected to have to do when we booked a 3 bedroom for 3 couples on an expensive holiday weekend.

I stayed here recently with a few friends and we got a steal when we booked it several months in advance. It was less than $100 a night even after fees. So based on that price and split 4 ways with the other guests, it was incredible. The space common space is pretty big with a nice large mounted curved TV with pretty much any channel you could want. The kitchen was modern and large and had all the things you would need to cook or anything else although we didn't use it for anything except for the trash and water. Bedrooms were comfortable and a couple had TVs also. Towels and shower supplies were provided. Only negative was there was dog hairs on the couch and one of the guests is allergic to them and the upstairs was extremely hot all the time (outside temps in the 80s during our stay mind you). Communication was difficult at times too.
