Debbie's place was great! I stayed for a night with my friend and it was super close to downtown-- prolly like a 5 minute drive. And not to mention it is right by the Roanoke Star, which we could see on the drive back to the house. Debbie was a great host and made our stay extremely comfortable!

Everything was as described. The bed was very comfortable. We slept well and the neighborhood is very quiet. For anyone traveling the blue ridge parkway this is a good place to stop since it can be reached easily from here. Debbie was very helpful and accommodating. It was very relaxing sitting on her front porch in the evening. Her house is very clean.

I loved my stay, this period home is charming and homey. Enjoyed breakfast and the room was comfy too. Also, Debbie was very understanding when I had a major train delay and checked in late!

I didn't know what to expect with this being my first Airbnb experience. Within a few moments of our arrival, Debbie had us feeling right at home. She opened up and showed us her entire 1920's built house with a grand tour and we felt very welcome. The room advertised was serenity indeed and we felt very comfortable and relaxed during our stay. Debbie went above and beyond and offered her entire house with kitchen, dining room, multiple restrooms, front and back porch, back garden, all with a view of the city... and what a great neighborhood.... the list goes on... all within 5 minutes of downtown Roanoke. She even baked muffins for us and they were to amazing. Above and beyond. The room really was blue and calming with a very comfy bed and bed frame, closet, and bathroom just across the hall. I'm hitting her up again next time I come to Roanoke.

I am a single person with one cat, Zoey. I have many interests as well as work that I do. I teach yoga, help seniors with housekeeping, and work in a greenhouse that grows hyrdroponic lettuces. I love art and nature so I dabble in painting, photography, gardening, biking and hiking. I am an early riser and a quiet person. I know and love this area and can help you know and love it too!
