Our family purchased the newly built Buffalo several years ago and we fell in love with it immediately - It is a modern, light filled home, warm and cosy in winter too! Buffalo is well located within Dinner Plain, a unique Alpine village surrounded by pristine Australian bushland. It offers a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of every day life and is well appointed to all amenities and outdoor activities that the area has to offer.

The space
Buffalo is a cosy, comfortable and welcoming chalet. Downstairs entry has a drying area, perfect for those visiting in winter. It has a master bedroom and ensuite and a second bedroom with two bunk beds. The second bathroom also has a bath. Both areas have built in robes and comfy beds! There is a cupboard laundry space with washing machine and drier. Upstairs is a lovely light filled open living space, with a modern fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and cosy lounge area, with a gas fire box and television. Some DVD's as well as board games, books and puzzles are here for you to enjoy, when your not out enjoying all that the mountain has to offer. There is car parking space at the property.

Guest access
Guests will have full access to the home; it's two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and open dining and lounge area.
(The only area no accessible is the loft)

Other things to note
Dinner Plain is an award winning village, architecturally unique, inspired by the cattleman's huts of the High Country. It also has a strong sense of community and provides a safe and supportive environment for all to enjoy the beautiful Australian bush environment. Dinner Plan has its own beginner ski slope, ideal for younger or families new to the activity. It is a haven for naturalists, bird watchers and outdoor enthusiasts. Mount Hotham is a ten minutes drive and offers some of the best skiing/boarding, on one of the highest peaks in Victoria. For those wanting more of a hiking challenge the options are endless. If you're wanting to wind down at the end of a big day, the nearby Onsen Day Spa has an indoor lap pool, fully equipped gym, as well as massage therapies and exercise groups. Other activities include; snowshoeing, horse riding, dog sledding or dry land cart in the warmer months, tennis and frisby golf. It can also be a base for touring, including; golf courses, markets, galleries, restaurants and wineries within the environs. Keep posted on the Dinner Plain website for special events; such as the Easter Geebung Polo Game and fireworks, the Mountain Bike Enduro and Funduro, Running Wild Marathon and Christmas and New Year Festivities.
