Welcome to East Van!

Bright, cozy room in East Village duplex moments away from downtown, beaches, trails, and other hip/eclectic neighbourhoods.

Suite shared with two cats.

Walking to thrift and vintage, plenty of markets, restaurants, amenities, and neighbourhood bars.

Access to car shares and seven busses going in every direction toward downtown and neighbouring cities.

There is a large park around the corner with a water park, playground, picnic tables and community garden!

The space
A quiet retreat in the city near everything. Convenient 10-15 minute (4 stops) straight bus ride on express 95 B-Line into the core!

Walking distance to Playland (May-September and October) with wild rides, Hollywood style haunted houses, and carnival games. A beautiful park with a small lake to walk through year-round. Add us to your Wish List and stay with us!

We have been living in our home for over six years, hosting travellers on Airbnb over the past two years and opening our home to travellers for nearly 10 years. We'd love to have you stay and help us make the space the best it can be.

There is a door leading out of the kitchen onto the patio and backyard. You may choose to use this as your main entrance and exit to and from the house if you'd like.

The kitchen is the main common area. There is no living room, but there is a patio and backyard which are very nice during the summer and other dry days.

The kitchen is available to you at all hours and is equipped with bamboo skewers to pizza pans and everything between.

Breakfast basics are available to you at all times. There is a shelf with teas, coffee, honey, sugar, and disposable travel cups with lids for on-the-go. Refreshing naturally essenced sparkling water available in the fridge.

There is access to laundry in the basement with soap and fabric softener both scented and unscented at no cost.

There are two young tenants that live in the basement suite where the laundry is located. Don't be alarmed! They do not use the main floor suite and they are very nice.

Hello, my name is Jessi! I love travelling and being cozy. When hosting, I urge guests to make themselves at home, and to please ask me anything. I hope to make our guests feel as comfortable as possible and be able to explore through the locals’ lens. I spend my time cleaning homes, delivering groceries, camping, hiking (especially with my dog), organizing events, and performing music live and touring with my partner (the main reason why we choose Airbnb abroad).
