Are you traveling for business? You will be 25 minutes from downtown Honolulu or the airport. Military? You’re 10 minutes away from Marine Corps Base Hawaii, 20 minutes from Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, 25 minutes from US Coast Guard Base, and 40 minutes from Schofield Barracks. INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
At any time, I am available to help with recommendations on any site tour options including luau, hiking, beaches, restaurants, shopping and more. When you’re here, interaction is at your discretion.
You can check in at your convenience after 4:00 p.m. with the provided gate and lockbox codes. The lock box has the key to your private entrance. Once inside, you will find another house key and the gate remote. I recommend you store the initial house key back in the lock box to prevent lock out.
Your space is entirely your own. The only shared feature is the laundry room. The laundry door locks from your side for privacy.
You can park up to two cars in the gated driveway and more on the street.
Interaction with guests
Although I live on site, I work full-time and also get out to enjoy the island. When I am home, interaction is at your discretion. I'm happy to have a chat, provide information, or give you your space. Please feel free to contact me by phone - especially if something is not meeting your expectations.
Other things to note
The home is convenient to a major road with easy freeway access. However, you may hear road noise occasionally.
- Remove sand from you and your belongings before entering. There is an outdoor shower and hose. If you accidentally bring sand in, please clean it up with the broom in the laundry room.
- Help keep insects away by cleaning the BBQ grill, both kitchen areas, and all tables after use. Any food left out attracts bugs.
- Island style, do not wear shoes in the house. There are mats to remove and place your shoes.
- Upon departure, please leave all keys and remotes on the kitchen table. Replacement cost for the remote is $50.
- No smoking on property. Properly dispose of smoking debris. Do not leave it in the street, plants, and such.
