Firstly, I think the description about this home should be clearer. It's a dorm like situation. 8 rooms (which could have 2 people each) and 2 shared bathrooms. The kitchen is communal too, and can get messy. The location is great though, room was spacious but kinda sparse with little (URL HIDDEN) pictures or mirrors on walls (like advert shows), stain on carpet and ceiling. Communication was quick and friendly. I wouldn't stay here again.

Location is excellent and a car is not required. Grocer and coffee shop are nearby. Kitchen is very convenient.

The host, Jonny was quick to respond and details on how to access the room were very straight-forward. The property is in an excellent location with plenty of shops etc nearby and an easy walk to the city centre. As mentioned on earlier this is a number of rooms with a shared bathroom/kitchen. This was not a problem as there are at least 2 bathrooms. I stayed in room 8 before which was fine. However in room 1 I was awoken at 5:15am by someone (I think 2 people) upstairs. They were not doing anything out of the ordinary other than get ready to go out. Every time they crossed the room I could hear their footsteps as the floor boards creaked. This went on until after 6am until which time I heard them come down the stairs and go out the front door. As a result I would not stay here again. Room 8 is fine as it is on the top floor. With this room (room 1) however if the people above you are to wake up early then so are you. There is little the owner of the property can do about this.

Pros: Great communication before the stay and easy check in. Cons: The room smelled strongly of cigarettes and the floors and walls were in very bad condition.

The apartment is in a fantastic location; walking distance to the city and right above a Tesco grocery store. Public transport is handy as well.

Jonny is the host, but probably you will mot see him. Its a bit hostel-ish but then everybody with their own room. Shared kitchen and bathroom. Not the typical airbnb where you get dropped in a live of someone, but that is alright.
