I have lived here for 20+ years and, I think you'll love it here
This house was built in 1902. It is a lovely home that I have lived in for 23 years.
The house has three stories which includes the basement. Large living room and a large dining room with a large dining room table.
It has a nice size kitchen with a nook which I used as an office with a desk and an old PC.
Access to the basement and the washer dryer is in the kitchen. Both the side porch and the basement access the large fenced in backyard. The master bedroom is large and has a futon couch that can fold out into a double bed, as well as a closet and a dresser.
The bathroom is located on the main floor. It has a large clawfoot tub in it and a beautiful skylight that brings a lot of light.
Interaction with guests
There is a caretaker that lives in the basement named Estili. She works full time and spends some weekends doing outdoor adventures so may not always be around, so whenever the caretaker is unavailable the host will be available for information.
Other things to note
There is no air conditioning in the house, therefore it is important to know that if it is warm outside it will be warm in the house and especially upstairs where the beds are. I do have window fans which are helpful and Portland doesn't normally get very hot. Just something I think is important to share with you.
The washer and dryer are located in the basement.
- I do not smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol. It is fine with me if you smoke outside and keep your alcohol intake to a minimum. This is a very quiet neighborhood and so I don't want to cause any trouble with the neighbors.
