It is a wonderful experience for staying in this traditional Japanese house. In this apartment, we have enough room for four people. Every morning, we were able to taste the delicious foods that the home owner cooked. Besides, near the house, there are many good restaurants whi…

Response from Masashi:
I made a new TATAMI in my room. TATAMI is made from plant IGUSA. Therefore, the new TATAMI mat smells. Japanese understand this smell as a new TATAMI, and we like it. However, it smells only when it is new. IGUSA absorbs moisture and makes the room comfortable.
