Our charming farmhouse is nearly 100 years old. Much love and care has been taken to create a comfortable home where guests may relax in the peace that you are sure to find here. In the winter, create warm memories and stay cozy around the fire or cook hearty meals together in our spacious kitchen. In the summer, enjoy the lavender fields, birds singing, and deer nibbling between the lavender rows at dusk. Savor a glass of wine on our large covered porch or morning tea in the enclosed sun room.

The space

The Main Floor

Come in and enjoy our cozy and seasonally decorated farmhouse. Several steps leading up onto the large deck in front of the home with a covered area for visiting as well as an area that is uncovered if you'd like to enjoy the sunshine. A propane BBQ is provided. There is ample, comfortable seating on the porch, which look out over two of the largest incense cedar trees in the area. Once inside the house, on the main floor, there is an open floor plan with a spacious kitchen, dining room, and living room. There is also a bathroom and the master bedroom, as well as the laundry room. The kitchen has corian countertops with plenty of elbow room for multiple chefs in the kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware, wine glasses, a filterless coffee maker, french press, spices, microwave, dishwasher, oven, a hot air popcorn popper, and a waffle iron. The living room has an efficient mahogany ceramic pellet stove to maintain the cozy and romantic ambiance during the fall and winter months, several comfortable couches and chairs, and a large TV with an Amazon FireStick to access your online Hulu, Amazon, or Netflix entertainment. The bathroom has a detached powder room with a cast iron deep soaking tub, which is accessible through the master bedroom. Nice linens and simple toiletries are provided. There is a laundry room with a new washer, dryer, and ironing board off the kitchen.

I rented Lavender Acre to host a silent meditation retreat weekend. I had 6 guests, and everyone of them fell in love with the place as soon as they drove up. EVERYTHING about the place supports my group's goal of cultivating inner peace. From the openness and spaciousness of the kitchen/dining/living room area which allows for spreading out to meditate or do yoga, to the comfort and deliciousness of the beds for a good night's rest, Lavender Acre is truly a relaxing and luxurious environment. Katie was easily reachable, and all of our needs were met with ease and grace and joy. A fabulous experience which I can highly recommend.

Truly amazing. Come and see this amazing valley in style. Your own driveway and view of fields can’t be beat as far as coffee-in-the-quiet-mornings go. Simply perfect. We actually live near here and had to have a few nights away from our house for repairs to be made, and this made us feel so at home and comfortable. I’d move in here if I could. If you are looking for a spacious (the kitchen is fantastic!!!), quiet, comfortable, home away from home... just book this now before someone else takes the spot.

This farm house is quiet and private. The hosts have put a lot of effort and expense into things both big and small to make the house charming. The pictures of the open space of kitchen, dining, and living room don't do them justice. They were better than we expected. It was just great for a family or group of friends who want to spend time together.

This is a beautiful house. My family stayed here for my wedding outside of Salem. The house is so nice and fully stocked. Easy to get too, close to the highway. We had a few small get togethers and everyone that saw it commented on how nice the house was. I got ready here before my wedding and it was perfect. I have no complaints lavender house is so beautiful we all loved staying there.

Everything about Lavender Acres was beyond our expectations. It's clean, charming and comfortable. Communication with Katie and Chris was fast and easy and they were very responsive to our needs. The beds were comfortable. The outdoor seating on the porch made a lovely place to visit. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We hope to return in future years.

We are so glad that you were able to enjoy the space. Running a booth as you were doing can be exhausting, so we are glad we could offer a little respite and comfort. We look forward to hopefully having you visit again!
