We spent the weekend there with 7 friends for my bday and the large two-story dinning room was ideal for our dinner party. The owners are very flexible with check in-out times which we appreciated a lot. Also, They seem to have put a lot of thought in the design, and we had fun exploring it.
However, it caused confusion as to the number of bedrooms in the apartment and raised privacy issues within our group and the tenants next door.
We were locked out of the 2 rooms in the basement from the Hobbit house tenants because the circle door locks from their apartment side. On the listing it's not clear that the properties connect and If you think about it it's also a safety/security issue if you don't know who's living next door.
Of course we understand that the house is designed in a more treehouse, rustic flavor blending in with nature but certainly we encountered a lot of bugs, flies of all kinds. I would suggest it just needs more looking after and general maintenance same as the pool that looks more like a pond.
All things considered, we had a great time.
